Sliding Scale Fees
At Synergy 4 Youth NC PLLC we believe that access to quality therapy should be available to everyone, regardless of financial situation. To support those in need, we offer a sliding scale fee structure, which allows us to adjust the cost of therapy based on your income and financial circumstances.
What is a Sliding Scale?
A sliding scale means that the cost of therapy will vary based on your ability to pay. We consider factors such as your income, household size, and financial obligations when determining your session fee. This approach allows us to offer affordable therapy for individuals and families who may not have access to traditional insurance or the ability to pay full session rates.
How Does It Work?
Step 1: During your free consultation, we'll discuss your financial situation and determine if a sliding scale fee is appropriate for you
Step 2: After evaluating your financial information, we’ll set a rate for your therapy sessions that works within your budget.
Step 3: You'll pay a rate that is fair and affordable, while still receiving the high-quality care you need.

Good Faith Estimate and Therapy (Self-Pay Rates)
All self-pay clients have the right to a "Good Faith Estimate". The Good Faith Estimate shows the costs of items and services that are reasonably expected for your health care needs for an item or service.
Under Section 2799B-6 of the Public Health Service Act, health care providers and health care facilities are required to inform individuals who are not using insurance coverage or not seeking to file a claim with their insurance provider a “Good Faith Estimate” of expected charges.
The estimate is based on information known at the time the estimate was created. The Good Faith Estimate does not include any unknown or unexpected costs that may arise during treatment. You could be charged more if complications or special circumstances occur. If this happens, federal law allows you to dispute (appeal) the bill. For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate or the dispute process, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises or call (800) 985-3059.

90791: Initial Diagnostic Evaluation (Family Therapy) $250
